Details about Mukhyamantri Mahalaxmi Yojana
CM Maha Lakshmi Scheme has seen quite a few twists and turns since it was announced by former CM Trivendra Rawat a couple of months ago. He had named the scheme “Soubhagyawati Yojana” and was all set to inaugurate it when he had to step down. His successor, Tirath Singh Rawat changed the name of the scheme to Mahalakshmi Yojana and was gearing up to launch it. But on the very day, he was to inaugurate Maha Laxmi Yojana, he was summoned to Delhi and subsequently had to let go of the CM’s chair.
Mukhyamantri Mahalaxmi Yojana has been launched in Uttarakhand. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami launched this scheme at CM Camp office. CM Dhami and Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister Rekha Arya distributed Mahalaxmi kits to the beneficiary women. At the same time, the beneficiary women from different districts also joined the virtual program where Mahalaxmi kits were distributed through the district magistrates.
Under the Mukhyamantri Mahalaxmi Yojana, a total of 16929 beneficiaries have been benefited in the first phase in all the districts of the entire state. More than 50 thousand people are to be benefited in a year. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the benefit of this scheme will also be seen in the improvement of gender ratio
What are the benefits of Mukhyamantri Mahalaxmi Yojana?
For pregnant woman –
Almonds, kernels, Sukhi, Kumaoni, walnuts, dates, two pairs of socks, towel, blanket, shawl, bedsheet, sanitary napkin, mustard oil, nail cutter, soap and laundry soap.
Girl Baby Materials –
Baby Clothes, Cotton Nappies, Baby Towel Cotton, Baby Soap, Oil, Baby Powder, Rubber Sheet, Baby Blanket, Vaccination Card, Breastfeeding Nutrition Card.
What is the eligibility criteria for Mukhyamantri Mahalaxmi Yojana?
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand state.
- She must be a pregnant woman.
- Only those pregnant ladies above 18 years of age would be eligible.
- The family and dependents of all government employees paying Income Tax would not be covered under the project.
How to apply for Mukhyamantri Mahalaxmi Yojana?
- There is no online process available to apply under Uttarakhand Mahalaxmi Yojana 2022.
- If the woman gives birth at home, then she will have to go to the Anganwadi or the nearest health centre and take the registration certificate.
- The woman has to attach the birth certificate of the daughter with the application form.
- To get the application form, you can take help from the Asha sister or the health worker posted in the health center.
- After taking the application form, you will have to fill all the information asked in it.
- After that you have to attach all the above-mentioned documents in it.
- After attaching the documents, you have to submit it to the concerned officer.
What are the documents required along with the Mukhyamantri Mahalaxmi Yojana application form?
List of the required documents are as follows:
Identity Proof (Aadhar Card / Voter ID Card / Ration Card)
Residence proof (any one of the house electricity bill, water bill, ration card etc.)
Age certificate
Certificate of being pregnant (As a certificate, you can take the doctor’s slip or card of the first aid center or government hospital.)
BPL ration card
Registration at Anganwadi Center
Copy of government or private mother-child protection card (MCP card)
Institutional Delivery Certificate (Certificate issued by Anganwadi worker/Asha worker or doctor)
Self-attested declaration for the birth of first, second / twin girl child
Certificate of non-regular government / semi-government servant and income tax payer
